About

Cassidy B. Charles is a librarian, runner, and writer in Arlington, VA. A New Jersey native, Cassidy graduated from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Pre-Law and from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey with a Masters of Library and Information Science.

While an undergraduate, Cassidy served an AmeriCorps State & Local service year with the Annie Halenbake Ross Public Library in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. She has provided research services, organization leadership, and technology instruction in rural, suburban, and urban public and academic libraries. She has also reviewed books for Library Journal and Booklist.

Week’s End initially captured her experience pursuing a M.L.I.S. and juggling work between multiple libraries, but now documents her observations in the field of library and information science and around her community.
