Take me home [tonight]

CC: Supervisor…have you ever put something on hold, forgotten about it, and then been really confused when it arrived?

S: What did you get?

CC: “Take Me Home Tonight”..I mean, I like that song, but I can’t stand Topher Grace or Anna Faris. Maybe I should accept this ILL destiny.

CC: OH I meant to put “Take Me Home” on hold!

S: Mystery solved.

Peace and Love are dead

There was a fight at the library today.

Two women exchanged words and, ultimately, had an altercation in my department’s vestibule. I had to hit the police panic button and proceeded to panic over how to call department heads. Thankfully Co-worker hadn’t left for lunch, like he said he had. He told them the police were on their way.

One of the ladies ripped out half of the other’s weave. I had to fill out an incident report. My hands shook and my heart raced for the last hour at work.

Today’s been a day in a lot of ways.
